Information We Collect

When you register for JsonHook, we collect your email address. When you use the service, we process inbound emails to forward them to your webhook endpoints. We also collect usage data (email counts, delivery logs) to enforce plan limits and provide the service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the JsonHook service, process and forward inbound emails to your configured webhooks, enforce usage limits based on your plan, send transactional emails related to your account, and improve our service.

Email Processing

Inbound emails sent to your JsonHook addresses are parsed and forwarded to your webhook URL as structured JSON. We temporarily store email content for delivery retries (up to 5 attempts). Email content is not stored beyond the retry window and log retention period of your plan (7-90 days depending on plan).

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HMAC-SHA256 webhook signatures, encrypted connections, and secure data storage. Your API keys are generated using cryptographically secure random values.

Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data. We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used.

Data Retention

Delivery logs are retained based on your plan tier (Free: 7 days, Starter: 30 days, Pro: 90 days). Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You may export your delivery logs via the API.
